Author's comments: Following the umpteenth watching of LotR-FotR, I drew this as a companion piece to "Lost" - an Elrond/Ereinion slash pic you can find halfway down this page. It was drawn much later than the first, but the style is similar (a coincidence, because the mood felt right for both) and again I used digital tweaking to get my point across. An excess of fabric folds and strong emotions, once again. This is titled "The King's Banner-bearer despairs" - it's in the aftermath of the battle, and Elrond is exhausted in body and mind...
